Vero Beach Mayor Dick Winger, professional dog trainers, members of the Indian River County Sheriff K-9 unit, and other dignitaries will conduct the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Overflow parking will be available at Beachland Elementary School. Refreshments will be served.verobeachdogpark

About the Park: The new park, which includes five acres of fenced fields, is open to the public dawn to dusk seven days a week, 365 days a year, free of charge. It welcomes well-behaved off-leash dogs, from small to large, with their human companions. An enclosure for small dogs is provided. Visitors are welcome with or without dogs.
